THE MISSION OF OUTREACH PROGRAM IS TO PROVIDE SAFE WATER, FOOD, MEDICAL CARE AND EDUCATION TO CHILDREN AND THOSE IN NEED AT HOME AND ABROAD.

Volunteers for the entire County showed up at Torrey Pines Community Church on Saturday June 18 to pack 40,000 meals to be sent to Ukraine to feed hungry families.

Rotarians from several clubs met on Saturday, March 19th to pick oranges for our local food pantry. There was such a great turn out of members and volunteers that we were able to pick over 45 crates of oranges which were donated to a local food bank!

Thanks so much to the generosity of many, including the Rancho Santa Fe Rotary Club, Chula Vista Sunrise Rotary Club, The Rotary Club of San Luis Rey, Rotary Club of Chula Vista-Eastlake, and others, we were able to help fund the much-needed driveway repairs for this San Diego County transition home for #HumanTrafficking survivors. More importantly, the residents saw firsthand the generosity of #Rotary's loving spirit that comes unconditionally!
We're looking forward to putting more projects on the calendar in short order! Keep an eye out for them!

Our amazing Samantha and Cindy visited to see the progress of the Garden of Hope on July 8th and it looks AMAZING!!!  They surveyed the plants that were planted on June 19th to make sure they were thriving and taught a representative of the house how to maintain the garden.  They harvested arugula, spinach, radishes and basil for the residents and showed them how to weed and maintain everything.  Smaller groups will continue to visit and train the residents with seasonal plantings and maintenance.

The Rancho Santa Fe Rotary Club was excited and privileged to serve at GenerateHope on June 19th, 2021.  The club armed with large and small garden tools attacked and replanted vegetable, herb, and succulent gardens for the residents that were BEYOND thankful for all the work that was done.  The recovery house is for survivors of sex trafficking in San Diego.

HUGE thanks to the two dozen Rotary District 5340 members, family, and friends that came out to GenerateHope to perform some much-needed facility repairs and landscape. We also had great representation from Coronado Rotary Club, San Diego Rotary Club, Rotary Club of Chula Vista-Eastlake, and Rotary Club of Southeast San Diego! We made a big difference today in the lives of several human trafficking survivors!
