What:   We will be picking Oranges for FEEDING SAN DIEGO and having a picnic lunch 

Where: Del Dios Ranch

Dress:  Comfortable shoes and clothes, Rotarians at Work shirt, Garden gloves, Sunscreen and Hat. 

Bring:  Garden clippers/shears (no pulling oranges off), grocery type bags to collect oranges.  Bring a beach chair for afterward.  BOX LUNCH WILL BE PROVIDED FOR YOU AND GUESTS IF YOU RSVP

NO $ FEE JUST GOOD FUN ORANGE PICKING AND PICNIC LUNCH

Join Rotarians as we step out and perform Community Service on the same day all around the world.

District 5340 clubs are invited to Generate Hope which runs a recovery house for victims of Human Trafficking. 

 We will be working to install a Healing Garden. Please bring, shovels, spades, rakes, glaves and other gardening tools.  These work events are vital to support the facility and also to show the residents that people can be kind.

Register for the event to receive confidential location details and more information on what to bring. Due to the need to keep the location confidential and have a clear list of volunteers, please sign up here.  Guests are welcome.   The location will be shared with volunteers in the week prior,  and must be kept confidential.  Please carpool.   Indicate in the comments whether you can drive, how many you can take or whether you would prefer a ride.  Drivers will establish a meeting place.  9:30 am arrival for orientation and signing release forms.  

Be sure to wear your RSF Rotary RAW tee shirt.  If you just ordered one they are in and ready for pickup!

Join Rotarians from District 5340 for the second annual American flag placement at Miramar National Cemetery. We have 22,000 flags to place at gravesites beginning at 2:30 pm on May 24th in preparation for Memorial Day.

Approximately 400 local Rotarian volunteers will converge on Miramar Nation Cemetery to respectfully place flags at gravesites.  Rotarians are also invited to remove the flags for storage on Tuesday, May 27 3:30 pm.  Look for detailed instructions via email the week before the event.  Sign up to place flags with our Club or retrieve flags if you can't make it on the District Website: District Military Coordination Committee:   https://rotarydistrict5340dmcc.com/upcoming-events/operation-flags-for-vets-2025/ and fill out the volunteer form.

We have scheduled Rancho Santa Fe Rotary to volunteer on Saturday, June 21st for our Afternoon Food Sorting Volunteers Shift from 9-11am. We have reserved this time for up to 20 volunteers.

Please note: if you are signing up a minor:

1. The email provided for the parent/guardian will receive an email to authorize approval and prompt completion of registration for your child. Until then, your minor will be placed on a waitlist.
2. Continue to fill out all requested information and scroll down to the bottom of the page to click the orange “Sign up” button.
3. A waiver will be generated for the parent or guardian to complete and accept.
4. Once completed, the minor will be removed from the waitlist and registered with the group.

Before You Arrive, Don’t Forget!

• All volunteers must wear closed-toe shoes.
• Volunteers must be six and older to volunteer.
• We require 1 adult volunteer per 5 volunteers aged 6-13 years.
• We require 1 adult volunteer per 10 volunteers aged 14-16 years.

We are meeting at 12:30 on the side of the RSF Association office facing Avenida de Acacias. I’ll have hats, hair bands, etc.  flags and banners.
