Join Rotarians from District 5340 for the first annual American flag placement at Miramar National Cemetery. We have 22,000 flags to place at gravesites beginning at 2:30 pm on May 25th in preparation for Memorial Day.

We anticipate needing between 250 and 300 volunteers and expect that the flag placements will take no more than 4 hours. The cemetery is divided into 11 sections and volunteers will be assigned to a section. There is ample parking at the cemetery but we are encouraging car pooling. We will keep volunteers from the same club together as much as possible. Look for detailed instructions via email the week of May 21 which will include cemetery section map, distribution plan and instructions, and parking scheme with diagram.  This is a District wide event.  Sign up to either place or retrieve flags with the District Website District Military Coordination Committee:  www.RotaryDistrict5340DMCC.com/operation-flags-for-vets-5-24-2024

This is a fun volunteer event put on by our favorite magazine that raises funds for one of our favorite charities!

Help Ranch and Coast at the second annual Pickleball with a Purpose fundraiser to benefit Generate Hope: a safe place for survivors of sex trafficking to heal and find restoration in long-term housing with trauma-informed therapy, education and vocational support with the ultimate goal of discovering a healthy purpose-filled life.

You will be contacted by staff from Generate Hope to confirm which of the tasks you will be assigned to.

 Set up and/or tear down (vendor tables moved into position, table
clothes set etc)
Check in - need to be alittle computer savvy and bring a phone, tablet or lap top
Work the Auction table 

Sell raffle tickets

We have scheduled Rancho Santa Fe Rotary to volunteer on Saturday, June 22nd for our Afternoon Food Sorting Volunteers Shift from 1pm-3pm. We have reserved this time for up to 20 volunteers.

Please note: if you are signing up a minor:

1. The email provided for the parent/guardian will receive an email to authorize approval and prompt completion of registration for your child. Until then, your minor will be placed on a waitlist.
2. Continue to fill out all requested information and scroll down to the bottom of the page to click the orange “Sign up” button.
3. A waiver will be generated for the parent or guardian to complete and accept.
4. Once completed, the minor will be removed from the waitlist and registered with the group.

• Volunteers must be six and older to volunteer.
• We require 1 adult volunteer per 5 volunteers aged 6-13 years.
• We require 1 adult volunteer per 10 volunteers aged 14-16 years.

Make the Holidays Bright for children at Solutions for Change

 Join us to enjoy our Rotary friendships and choose an Angel tag from the Giving Tree.  Each Angel tag will have information about the age of your adopted child.  By choosing an Agel, you will be making holidays for children in need that much brighter.

RSF Rotary will provide Hor d’ oeuvres and beverages.  The cost to attend this event is to pick an Angel for yourself and your guests.  This is a good opportunity to bring prospective members.

Return gifts to the lobby where the social will be held by 12/10.
